The purpose of the DiG iN Mobile Initiative is to increase student engagement by empowering students to access digital content and instructional resources at school and at home that supports the district mission of preparing students for success in college, career and community leadership.  In addition, Fort Worth ISD educators will be equipped through targeted professional development with knowledge, strategies and support to integrate technology into the instructional program.As part of the Mobile Computing project of the Technology Readiness component of the 2013 Capital Improvement Program a 1:1 mobile device implementation for high school students will begin during the 2014-15 school year. The project has been branded "DiG iN" by the Fort Worth ISD.
