DiGiN D.A.T. of the Week March 30 - April 3

Office Mix has really taken off at South Hills. Teachers have begun to flip their classrooms by creating interactive Power Points that not only allow student to review and prepare for the upcoming class, but this particular teacher is doing a little more.

Brandon Lanier, 9th Grade Social Studies Tour Guide has taken Office Mix to the next level. Mr. Lanier is integrating videos, tutorials, polls, quizzess, surveys and even virtual field trips via Google Earth all within the Office Mix environment. The coolest part is Mr. Lanier and his wife just a had a new baby and He is teaching his class using this medium all from home. The mix is automatically desiminated to each student in each class, a script is provided for the sub and she simply pushing play and follows along. The class stays in engaged as if Mr. Lanier was physically standing in the classroom. Mr. Lanier is truly a DiGiN Digital Advocate!
