DiGiN D.A.T. (Digital Advocate Teacher) of the Week Keri Phillips

For the Week of April 6 - 10 South Hills DiGiN D.A.T. of the Week award goes to Mrs. Keri Phillips, AP English teacher.

Mrs. Phillips simply rocks! Every time you walk into her classroom, she has found a new way to meet her students where they are. She and I have had multiple conversations about integrating technology in her class and I'm blown away the next time I observe, she has taken those thoughts to the next level. From using @backchannel to promote live discussion opportunities during a viewing event to using @storyboardthat to allow students to demonstrate his/her understanding of Julias Ceasar with their own production. Most importantly, her students respect and love learning in her digital environment. Thank you Mrs. Phillips for exemplifying what being a DiGiN D.A.T. is all about!
