Match Made in Innovation Heaven

The excitement is just beginning to fester around the DILo (Digital Innovation Lounge) project at South Hills High School. The students are beginning to meet with their teams to discuss roles, responsibilitites and group norms, while starting to brainstorm ways to capture the student body vision of what this space should look and feel like to exceed the expectation to meet the student's where they are.

Yesterday, the pairing of the TCU IDFM Student Coaches and the @shhs_silc project teams took place via Google Hangout. Introductions were made, premise for the project was given and then questions were proposed and answered. The opportunity to meet virtually like this only spoke to the potential that the DILo can provide for our students to connect with other students, leaders, entrepreneurs and diverse thinkers across the globe. More importantly, our teams internalized the value of being connected to solve problems.
